Relais Ca’ Sabbioni, known also as Villa Pampado, was in the past the splendid dwelling of Gregorio Barbarigo’s and  Monsignor Francesco’s , Bishop of Padua. Once called “Osteria dei Sabbioni”, it was used by the travelers as stop and food court. Today, after a competent restoration project, which has respected the original elements of the existing structure, the ancient Villa has finally regained the original function becoming a luxury hotel. The central halls of the ground and first floor , embellished by the gorgeous venetian terrazzo floors and wooden beams are just some examples of the beauty of the Villa.

The project of the interior of Relais Ca’ Sabbioni was born by the contrast form the classic  stylistic key of a Venetian Villa of the 17th century and an interior design characterized by modern materials and forms. The transformation of the Villa into Relais was the occasion to draw new furniture. The continuum between ancient and modern is symbolized from the project of the Hall, where a steel ribbon links the reception to the lobby: a unique element that transforms in floor from the reception and then in a  sitting place.

The canopy “shell” bed enhancesthe Executive rooms thanks to its enveloping atmosphere created by its particular shape. In the Deluxe, Junior Suite and Suite on two levels rooms the “S” beds have a sinuous line that links the vertical part to the floor. Inside the Suite, your attention will be caught from the zen garden with chromo therapy and waterworks. From the first floor, where there is the bed, you can perceive the strong verticality of the room that throws your look through the downward.

In all the elements of the furniture, both fixed and movable, the illuminating part has got a determining role, in order to embellish the spaces, by creating an emotional atmosphere. Some elements have been created just for the structure, like the bright cylinders in the staircases, descending from the attic to the ground floor.
